Joshua's Law & Course Formats

Yes. We are a DDS-approved driving school located at 160 Greencastle Rd., Suite E, Tyrone, GA 30290.

Joshua's Law requires Georgia drivers ages 16–17 to complete a 30-hour approved classroom course (JL30) plus 40 hours of supervised driving before licensing. We offer the required classroom hours in three formats: In-Person Weekend, Virtual Live, and In-Person Daytime.

In-Person Weekend meets over two Saturday–Sunday sessions, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM. Virtual Live is a live, instructor-led 2-week cohort held Monday–Friday, 5:00–8:20 PM — it is not self-paced. In-Person Daytime meets Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–3:30 PM, with new cohorts starting every other week.

No. Virtual Live is a live, scheduled course. Students must log in on time, stay on camera, and actively participate for the entire session — logging in without participating does not count as attendance.

Behind-the-Wheel Training

Individual, in-car instruction focused on vehicle control, traffic navigation, parking, intersections, lane positioning, observation, and defensive-driving skills, with pickup/drop-off included within 15 miles.

Enclosed, flat, secure footwear such as sneakers. Platform shoes, heels, flip-flops, slides, and slippers are not permitted, since they interfere with safe pedal operation.

All purchased Behind-the-Wheel hours must be completed within 180 days of registration or purchase. Hours remaining unused after 180 days are forfeited and non-refundable.

No. Purchased BTW hours cannot be converted, transferred, or applied toward another Sage & Secure service, package, promotion, or future offering, including Road Test Prep, Mock Road Test Workshop, or DMV Concierge Premium.

Scheduling, Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations or rescheduling made 24 hours or less before a scheduled lesson are subject to a $50 fee. Cancellations made less than 1 hour before the lesson, or a no-show, result in full forfeiture of that lesson — it cannot be rescheduled, credited, transferred, or refunded.

The instructor will wait up to 15 minutes at the scheduled pickup location and will attempt to contact the student or parent/guardian. After 15 minutes, the lesson is classified as a no-show and forfeited in full.

Refund eligibility depends on the course format and timing of withdrawal. Please review our Refund Policy for complete details.

Credit is given only for instructional time actually attended. Arriving late, leaving early, or missing a scheduled session means that time is not credited, and missing required instructional time results in withdrawal from the current cohort. We do not offer private make-up instruction.

Road Test Services

Road Test Preparation ($95) suits a student who feels ready and has their own ride to the DMV. Mock Road Test Workshop ($145) adds a full practice test and written report. DMV Concierge Premium ($399) adds pickup, transportation, paperwork help, and use of an academy vehicle for the actual test.

Yes, our Zutobi Learner's Permit Prep & Parent Guide add-on ($49) provides online study support for the Georgia knowledge test and a guide for parents to structure supervised practice.

Payment & Policies

No. The standard $50 administrative/cancellation/rescheduling fee is non-refundable wherever it applies, including on every JL30 refund.

Yes. Payment is due in full at the time of registration through our Zutobi enrollment partner — we do not offer a deposit option.

No, it is optional. You will select YES or NO during registration, and you can revoke the authorization in writing at any time for future use (this does not require removal of materials already published or in an active campaign).
